Sara Jane Scott passed away peacefully at her home January 8, 2023. She was born November 29, 1942, in Hagerstown, MD.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Scott; parents, Charles John Bowers and Hazel Estelle (Seal) Bowers; son, Steven L. Williams; brothers, Charles "Fuzzy" Bowers, Eddie Bowers, Nelson Bowers, and Greg Bowers; sisters, Mary Creager and Vickie Grove; and stepdaughter, Debbie Hoover.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. David E. Williams Jr.; stepchildren, Mr. and Mrs. William A. Grove, Richard "Ricky" Scott, and Pam Scott; daughter-in-law, Donna Williams; grandchildren, Josh Williams, Dana Williams, Brandi Pensinger, and Alexis Pate; great-grandchildren, Alyssia, Jaylin, Zachary, McKenzie, Josie, Keaton, Hunter, and Rosalyn; and siblings, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bowers and Barbara Moats.

There will be a Celebration of Life at the North American Rod & Gun Club, 12108 Belvedere Rd, Hagerstown, MD, on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 1:00 - 3:30 pm.
