SANDRA JEAN SHIVES, 73, of Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Meritus Medical Center. Born April 26, 1941, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Madline Ashby Hershberger. She was previously employed with Bryers Ice Cream Company. Sandra enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Dutrow and husband, Gary of Hagerstown; a brother, Donald Hershberger of Hagerstown; four grandchildren, McKenzie Dutrow, Farron Dutrow, McCoy Dutrow and Chad Dutrow; a nephew, Donnie "Butch" Hershberger of Hagerstown and several cousins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edgar Shives, Jr. Memorial service will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E.
