Sandra K. Powell, 70, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully at Doey's House on October 17, 2025.

Born October 1, 1955, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Bruce A. Powell and Kathleen L. Powell.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ronnie L. Powell and Benjamin B. Powell.

She was a 1973 graduate of South Hagerstown High School.

Sandra is survived by her nieces, Carrie Pearson, Rebekah Kenny, Hannah Peterson, Rachel Childs and Naomi Stamper, and her nephew, Sean Powell; as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom brought her great joy. She will also be deeply missed by her church family at Emmanuel Baptist Church, where she faithfully attended and found joy in fellowship.

Sandra will be remembered for her kindness, faith and loving spirit.

Family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, and from 10am to 11am Friday, October 24, 2025, at Emmanuel Baptist Temple, 16221 National Pike, Hagerstown, MD.

Funeral service will be at 11am Friday, October 24, 2025, at Emmanual Baptist Temple.

Burial will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
