Sandra Anne Fletcher Filipowski, 87, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Commonwealth Senior Living in Hagerstown.  Born Mary 26, 1937 in Washington, D. C., she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Beulah Peacock Miller Tudge.

Sandra had a heart to serve and did mission work across the country. She worked in many healthcare jobs, helping people from young children to seniors. She organized blood drives, focusing on rare blood types.

She is survived by four sons, Mike Fletcher, Patrick Fletcher (Cheryl), Shawn Fletcher (Lisa), and Kevin Fletcher (Dawn); two stepdaughters, Gina VanHook (Kurt) and Michele Dertouzos; one stepson, Sean Filipowsksi (Kathy); 15 grandchildren, Thomas Fletcher (Paui), Casey Fletcher (Selena), Sara Fletcher, Marcus Fletcher, Logan Fletcher, Kiera Fletcher, Ryan Fletcher, Noah VanHook, Lulu VanHook, Jenna Dertouzos, Dyland and Matthew Dertouzos, Jessica Griffin (Mark) Nicholas Filipowski (Heather), Michael Filipowski; and 8 great-grandchildren, Claire Fletcher, Tyler Fletcher, Skylar Griffin, Reese Griffin, Hazel Griffin, Londyn Filipowski, Axel Filipowski, and Fallyn Filipowski.

Sandra was preceded in death by her first husband of 35 years, Thomas Fletcher, and her second husband of 22 years, Raymond Filipowski; and one son, Brian Fletcher.

A Memorial Service will be held 11am Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be private.
