Samantha Marie Cunningham, aged 63, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, in Pinesburg. Born on January 21, 1963, in Hagerstown, Samantha was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her.

She was the devoted wife of Duane (Sandy) Cunningham and a cherished mother to daughters Ashley Mills and Nikki Godlove (Chance Sr.) as well as a doting grandmother to Kendall and Cole Mills and Chance Godlove Jr. Her loving family extended to her sisters, Debbra Dupree (Dave) and Betty Herbert.

Samantha was predeceased by her parents, Sam and Betty Printz, her twin brother, Russ, and her grandson, Cooper Godlove.

She was a proud 1981 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. Her professional life was marked by a remarkable 33-year tenure as a dental assistant, where she worked alongside Dr. Allan T. Bacon III. Her dedication to her work was paralleled only by the care and compassion she showed to each patient and colleague. Samantha's life was a testament to her resilience and strength. Her unwavering positivity in the face of life's challenges was an inspiration to many. She approached every day with grace and a smile that could light up a room. Her laughter was infectious, and her storytelling could captivate an audience like no other. She was a mentor to many, always eager to lend an ear or a helping hand. Her legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and genuine concern for others.

In her leisure time, Samantha found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her love for her family was immeasurable, and the treasured memories they created together will continue to provide comfort and joy to all who were part of her journey.
