SALLY ANNE CORNELL, 74, of Hagerstown, MD died Saturday, May 23, at Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. Born July 28, 1934 in Knoxville, Iowa, she is the daughter of Marion E. Pelmulder Crozier of Woodland, WA and the late Newton H. Crozier. She graduated from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. She is retired from World Headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Silver Spring, MD. She was a member of the Sligo Seventh-day Adventist Church in Takoma Park, MD She is survived by her husband, Harold Earl Cornell; two daughters, Leslee Knecht and husband Mark of Hagerstown and Loree Gordinier and husband Donald of Long Lake, NY; three sons, Charles Clubb and wife Dalene of Springtown, TX, Harold Leland Cornell and wife Debbie of Moira, NY and John Allen Cornell and wife Diana of Binghamton, NY; two sisters, Nancy Knowles and husband Earle of Woodland, WA and Carolyn Jane Nelson and husband J.D. of TX.; 12 grandchildren, several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Kearns. A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 28 at 1:00 pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown with Pastor James R. Hoffer officiating. The family will receive friends one half hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family
