RUTH LILLIAN STACER, 97, of Gilbert Hills Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Golden Living Center. Born August 28, 1915, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Lillian C. Culmer Ward. She was preceded in death by her husband, to whom she was married to for sixty-five years, Arthur Joseph Stacer on August 16, 2000. She is survived by one daughter, Donna Ruth Bishop of Hagerstown; two sons, Raymond Stacer of Hagerstown, and Arthur J. Stacer of San Antonio, Texas; sixteen grandchildren, and thirty-five great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Stacer, and one grandson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p. m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Arthur J. Stacer, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6 to 8 p. m.
