RUTH M. PRYOR, 89, of 19839 Scott Hill Drive, Hagerstown, Md. died on September 28, 2005 at her home. Born September 19, 1916 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Mary R. Harrison. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Pryor who died December 18, 2001. She was a 1934 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She was of the protestant faith. She had been employed with Attorney Leo H. Miller and later with Miller, Miller and Kuczynski. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Brewer and husband Jay of Morehead City, North Carolina; a son, Richard A. Pryor and wife Barb of Hagerstown; 3 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, James M. Pryor and a foster brother, Carl F. Stover. Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. The Rev. Jay Fretz and Rev. Randall Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home, 1 hour prior to the service on Friday.
