RUTH ELIZABETH HART, 69, of 7 East Washington Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Meritus Medical Center. Born January 31, 1943, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James Curtis and Doris Jane Flint Swandol. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Alfred Hart on November 9, 2003. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by one brother, Roy C. Swandol and his wife Joanie of Morristown, Tennessee . Graveside services will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 2:30 p. m. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 6:00 p. m. The Rev. Thom C. Smith will officiate. There will be no viewing. Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 15 High Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740. Arrangements are being handled by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown.
