RUTH NADINE GRIMM, 85, of 410 North Locust Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Monday, April 9, 2007 at her home. Born September 15, 1921 in Frederick, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Mary Wilhide Sheets. She was preceded in death by her husband, John G. Grimm. She was of the Lutheran faith. She was a member of Morris Frock American Legion Post 42 auxiliary. She is survived by two daughters, Catherine Grimm and husband Roy Filby of Newport, Oregon and Carol Anne Grimm of Hagerstown, MD; one son, John Grimm and wife Laura, Modesto, California; one brother, Johnson Sheets of Florida; three granddaughters, Kelcie Grimm, Dana Grimm and Sara Grimm and one great grandson, Anthony. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Loyal H. Vanderveer will officiate. Burial will be in Samples Manor Cemetery in Sharpsburg, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Thursday.
