RUTH VALETTA EWART, 84, of 17742 Virginia Avenue, Hagerstown, and formerly of 13429 Resh Road, Hagerstown, died on Friday, December 01, 2006 at Ravenwood Nursing Home. Born February 15, 1922 in Adah, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Nancy Jane Piper King. She is survived by her husband of sixty-nine years, Lloyd M. Ewart; two daughters, Genevieve Barr of Hagerstown, and Denise Sipe of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania; a grandchild she raised, Candy Cline of Hagerstown; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
