Russell Edward Miller Jr., 89, of Hagerstown, MD, went to be with his Heavenly Father Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Sterling Care South Mountain. Born September 14, 1931, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Russell Miller Sr and Pearl (Colbert) Miller. A veteran of the U.S. Army, Russell served in the Korean War. He retired from Mack Truck and later worked for Younger Toyota. He was a member of North Side Mennonite Church. He was preceded in death by one son, Todd Miller, as well as brothers Billy Miller, Donald Miller, John Miller and sister Nancy Drieslein. Russell is survived by his wife of 57 years, Martha (Heefner) Miller. He is also survived by four sons Michael Miller, Timothy Miller, Travis (and Angela) Miller, and Thomas (and Sonya) Miller; one daughter, Tanya Pearrell; four grandsons Aaron Miller, Jordan Miller, Devin Miller, and Connor Miller; one granddaughter, Ashlyn Pearrell; sister, Grace Miller; several half-siblings; and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are welcomed for visitation Monday, November 30, 2020 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd in Hagerstown. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Rev. Gary Zook officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown.
