Roy Eugene Guessford Jr., 54, of Falling Waters, WV, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018 at his home. Born December 13, 1963, he was the son of the late Carolyn J. (Wright) and Roy Eugene Guessford, Sr. Roy was previously employed with Garden State Tannery. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Morrison Guessford; daughter, Lindsey Mowen; son, Roy E. Guessford, III; two step-sons, Kenneth Morrison and Matthew Morrison; two sisters, Robin Miller and Kimberly Hovanec; brother, Rodney Guessford; and six grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his daughter, Stephanie Guessford. The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Thomas J. Stottlemyer will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Pauls Cemetery in Clear Spring, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
