Ross Harrah Anderson, 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2024, at Doey's House. He was born on July 8, 1939, in New Brighton, PA to the late Rev. Harrah Phillip Anderson and Frances M. (Hall) Anderson.
He is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 60 years, Beverly Anderson, and their devoted son Keith Anderson. He was a proud grandfather to Danielle Powell and her husband Billy, and Tyler, as well as a doting great-grandfather to Trey, Brecken, Talon, and an eagerly awaited great-granddaughter. He leaves behind his brother Ronald Anderson, sister Lettie Williams, sister-in-law Nancy Prinkey, and a host of cherished nieces and nephews. Ross was preceded in death by his brother Robert Anderson, sister Margaret Demko, and sister-in-law Betty June Pine.
After honorably serving four years in the army, Ross embarked on a career as a military archivist for the Pentagon, a role from which he eventually retired after years of dedicated service. A passionate fan of the Orioles and Redskins, he also found great joy in assembling model cars. Nonetheless, his most treasured moments were those spent with his family, whom he loved profoundly.

He approached life with a strong sense of duty and care, influencing many with his wisdom and warmth.
