Mrs. Rosetta R. (Shultz) Stover, 89, of Frederick, MD, went to be with our Lord on July 28, 2025, at Citizens Nursing in Frederick. Born December 14, 1935, in Waynesboro, PA. She is the daughter and oldest of four children of Allen L. Shultz Sr. and Charlotte E. (Trace) Shultz of South Mountain, PA. She was the widow of the late Robert Stover who went to be with our Lord on October 14, 2021. Rosetta was raised by her beloved grandmother, Rosie S. Trace.
After graduating high school at Quincy, PA, she relocated to Harrisburg, PA to attend the Ken-Dell School of Cosmetology and graduated in 1954. She worked in the Harrisburg area until her marriage to Robert Stover on December 23, 1956. Shortly afterwards, they moved to South Mountain, PA where she started her career managing the beauty shop at the Samuel Dixon State Hospital.
She and her husband and three children moved to Frederick, MD in 1970. She graduated from the King Jesus Bible Institute, June 1985, with an Associates of Arts (AA) degree in Biblical Studies. In March 1990 she graduated summa cum laude from Evangel Theological Seminary in New Market, VA with a Master's degree in Theological Studies.
She loved teaching other believers the "good news" of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and taught Child Evangelism Fellowship classes, adult bible classes and home study groups. She also taught series of studies on 'Old Testament Tabernacle' in many churches as well as being a guest speaker at 'Women's Aglow' and 'Full Gospel Business Men's' chapters in PA, MD and VA.
She is survived by her three children, Shawn and wife Stacy of Thurmont MD, Kurt and wife Julia of Boonsboro MD, and Faith Ellen Naugle and husband Jeff of Fayetteville PA, as well as five grandchildren, Russell Stover, Kristie Main, Amanda Stover, Evan Stover and Holly Stover. Five great-grandchildren, Trinity Rose Stover, Kyleigh Elizabeth Stover, Tatum Emery Main, Russell William Stover, and Nataleigh Veronica Rose Knight. She was preceded in death by brother's James "Jim" Shultz (2025) and Allen L. "Bussie" Shultz Jr (1972).
Services will be 2pm Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Larry Fogle officiating. Burial will be in Brown's Mill Cemetery, Chambersburg, PA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, August 10, 2025, one hour prior to services.
