Ronald "Ronnie" Ellsworth Lesher, Sr. 70, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday September 21, 2020. Born November 21, 1949 in Clear Spring, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Milton Lesher, Sr. and Hilda June (Rubeck) Lesher. Ronnie was a 1967 graduate of Clear Spring High School and attended Hagerstown Junior College for auto mechanics. He enjoyed spending time with his family and collecting die cast cars. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, DeEtta Lorraine (Miller) Lesher; son, Ronald Ellsworth Lesher, Jr. and wife Shelley of Smithsburg, MD; son, Brian Keith Lesher, Sr. and wife Deborah of Clear Spring, MD; sisters, Louise Bechtold, Audrey Coffelt, Carol Seilhamer, and Linda Funk; brothers, Paul Lesher and Richard Lesher; four grandchildren, Joshua Lesher, Brian Lesher, Jr., Justin Lesher, and Kaydee Lesher; and one great grandson to be, Cohen Lesher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Lapole, his brother, Charles Lesher, Jr., and an infant grandson. The funeral service will be held at 9am on Friday, September 25, 2020 with Pastor Eric Cox officiating, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 6 to 8pm.
