RONALD RAY CRAWFORD, SR., 50, of 620 North Mulberry Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, October 9, 2006 at his home. Born December 25, 1955 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Alvin A. Crawford, Sr. and Mary Louise Rizer Crawford. He was a member of the Easter Seals of Washington County. He is survived by his wife, Lorinda Bates Crawford; four daughters, Lorinda Crawford, Jennie Shepherd, Marie Frederick, and Christina Crawford, all of Hagerstown; four sons, Robert Hewitt of South Carolina, and Ronald Crawford, Jr., John Crawford, and Randy Crawford, all of Hagerstown; one sister, Mary Belle Crawford of Arthurdale, West Virginia; three brothers, Alvin Crawford, Jr. of Hagerstown, Randy Crawford of Morgantown, West Virginia, and Charles Crawford of Carmichaels, Pennsylvania; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Dale Crawford, and twin, Donald Crawford; and special friend, Sherry Ayres. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Wednesday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. George Snyder, and Rev. Bob Tase will officiate. Family will receive friends at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p. m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Friday at the Crawford Funeral Home, Hopwood, Pennsylvania. Rev. Brian Young will officiate. A visitation will be held at the Crawford Funeral Home on Thursday from 7 to 9 p. m. Burial will be in the McClellandtown Presbyterian Cemetery in McClellandtown, Pennsylvania.
