Romney Lee Minnick, known affectionately as Lee to his friends and family, passed away in the warmth of his Hagerstown home on January 6, 2025, after a brave battle with health challenges. Born on September 21, 1962, in Frederick, Lee was a man whose infectious laughter and zest for life left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Lee was a beloved figure in his community, known for his love of the open road and the sense of freedom he found while riding his cherished motorcycles. His adventurous spirit was matched only by his generous heart, and Lee was often the first to offer help to anyone in need. Lee is survived by his devoted brother, Guy Minnick, and his caring sister, Deanna Henderson. He was a cherished uncle to his nieces, Trisha Cross, Ashley Wilt, and Alison Minnick, and nephews, Keith and Richard Gantz. Each of them will carry forward memories of his playful spirit and wise counsel. Lee was preceded in death by his loving mother, Gloria Routhzan, his father, Guy Minnick Sr., and his sister, Teresa Ardinger.
