Roger Lee Stottlemyer, 82, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away October 28, 2024, at Coffman Nursing Home.

Born August 23, 1942 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Paul and Sarah (Bartles) Stottlemyer.

Roger was a 1960 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He retired from Mack Truck after 43 1/2 years. He was a life member of Redmen #84, and (Athletic) Little Club. He was also a member of the Eagles #694 and the Golden Bulldogs. He was a member of Broadfording Church of the Brethren.

Roger is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Stottlemyer; his son, Wayne Rogers Stottlemyer; his favorite niece, Cindy Sue Williar; and friend, Bonnie Socks.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Williar and Betty Witmer; Mary Cameron and brothers Paul Stottlemyer and Robert Stottlemyer.

A viewing will be held from 3-5pm on Friday, November 1, 2024, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.

Burial will be private.
