Rodney Eugene Springer, 58, of Frederick, MD, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at Autumn Lake at Braddock Heights.

Born March 7, 1966 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Claudia (Robinson) Springer and the late Edward Springer.

Rodney was a wonderful son. Although he was non-verbal, he would smile and light up as his way of expressing gratitude. He loved music and his toys that made sounds. He attended Marshal Street School and UCP Day Program.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his half-brother, Rusty Springer, several cousins, aunts, and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Guy and Jeannette Robinson, and Edward C. Springer, Sr. and wife, Marie.

The family would like to thank the staff at Autum Lake Healthcare at Braddock Heights and Frederick County Hospice for the wonderful care provided to Rodney.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Friday, April 26, 2024 at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD. Then at 2pm, a Memorial Service will be held at Autum Lake Health Care at Braddock Heights, 6012 Jefferson Blvd., Frederick, MD.
