Rockey Allen Timmons, 73, of Keedysville, MD, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. Born November 6, 1951, he was the son of the late Orville Timmons (wife, Jackie) and Goldie Hoover (husband, Jim).

He was a 1969 graduate of Boonsboro High School. He was a truck driver for 35 years, with his last employment with Alec C. Fergerson of Chambersburg, PA, before retiring in 2017.

He attended Calvary Baptist Church of Rohrersville, and was a member of Sons of American Legion, Post 10, Boonsboro, MD.

Rockey is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley (McAfee) Timmons; daughter, Stacey Rohrer and husband Steven, of Keedysville; granddaughter, Tiffany Smith, husband Wyatt, and great granddaughter, Sofia Rose Smith of Hagerstown; his siblings, Lois Snyder of Chambersburg, PA, Robert "Bob" Timmons and wife Annie of Bear Creek, WI, and Thomas Timmons of Martinsburg, WV; his aunt, Betty Clip of Hagerstown, MD; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and special friends, Bill and Laura Miller.

The funeral service will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
