ROBERT RAYMOND WILSON, 62, of York, PA, formerly from Hagerstown, MD, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at York Hospital in York, PA. Born in Baltimore, MD he was the son of the late Betty Lee Wilson. Robert spent his earlier years as a horse trainer and owner, and youth baseball and football coach. He was an avid sports fan and loved camping with his family, but above all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Robert is survived by his wife of nine years, Diane Gardner Wilson; one daughter, Kelli Swain and husband Brett; one son, Kyle Wilson and fianc Jessica Smigelski; two stepsons, David Gardner and wife Sharon and Chad Gardner and wife Ophelia; seven grandchildren, Landen Swain, Leilah Swain, Kylah Wilson, Olivia Gardner, Nathan Gardner, Taylor Dennis and Alyssa Heltzel; great-grandchild Brayden Spies; four brothers, Gary Migneault, Gene Wilson, Curtis Wilson and William Showe; one sister, Kathy Showe Petitfrere and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11am, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Hagerstown, MD. Reverend Isaiah and Heather Mattocks will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 12 from 6 to 8 pm at Minnich Funeral Home.
