Robert "Bobby" Leroy Maphis, Jr., 51, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, at Meritus Medical Center with his wife by his side.
Born October 4, 1970, he was the son of Robert L. Maphis, Sr. and Betty J. (Turner) Maphis.
Bobby was a loving husband, son, and daddy to his dogs, Sassy and Maxi, and bird, Baby. He was retired. He was a member of the Williamsport Redmen Tribe 84 for 15 years. He loved shooting pool and used to shoot on a pool league. He was a Washington Redskins fan.
In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Penny (Hinkle) Maphis, and his half-brother, Rodney Burger of Hagerstown, MD.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Monday, November 1, 2021, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 12pm with Pastor Allen Robinson officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. A luncheon will follow immediately following interment.
Masks are mandatory in the funeral home and will be provided to anyone who does not have one.
