ROBERT LEE KENDALL, 81, of Hagerstown, MD died Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Washington County Hospital. Born February 7, 1928 in Smithsburg, he was the son of the late Sherman F. and Ruth Bowers Kendall. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley K. Kendall, August 11, 2000. He was employed with Rider Truck Line for 11 years and previously with Potomac Dye and Finishing for 22 years. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Willowbrook Seventh Day Adventist Church in Boonsboro, MD. He was also a member of the American Legion, Morris Frock Post #42, the Teamsters Union and AARP. He is survived by a daughter, Leisa Kendall of Hagerstown; his first wife, Jane Kendall the mother of his two children; a brother, Sherman Kendall of Hagerstown; a grandson, Jason Kendall of Charlotte, NC; two great grandchildren, Nathan Kendall and Samantha Kendall; several nieces, nephews, cousins, special caregiver, Dayna, and his best buddy "Skipper". He was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Lee Kendall. Funeral services were previously held at Rose Hill Cemetery.
