Robert Ray Houpt, 78, of Williamsport, MD, born September 20, 1941, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, November 15, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be from 6 to 8pm on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Jay Recto will officiate. In addition to his parents, Jim and Mary Ellen Houpt, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Houpt. He worked at and retired from Mack Truck. He enjoyed bowling and golf. He was a member of Moose VFW in Greencastle, PA and attended Lifehouse Church in Hagerstown, MD. Robert is survived by two daughters, Kendra Dawson of Williamsport, MD, and Tanya Churchey of Williamsport, MD; two sons, Brian Houpt and wife, Tammy, of Greencastle, PA, and Sean Kenney and wife, Wanda, of Martinsburg, WV; five sisters, Nancy Keefer and husband, Rod, of Greencastle, PA, Betty Anderson of Pittsburgh, PA, Gay Buchanan of Greencastle, PA, Amy Rice and husband, Paul, of Greencastle, PA, and Pam Clay of Greencastle, PA; four brothers, David Houpt (deceased) and wife, Chris, of Germany, James Houpt of Port Orange, FL, Jerry Houpt (deceased) and wife, Ginger, of Greencaslte, PA, and Tom Houpt and partner, Candi Smith, of Waynesboro, PA; grandchildren, Devin Kenney and wife, Hanna, of Martinsburg, WV, Derek Kenney and wife, Tory, of Martinsburg, WV, Noah Brown of Alexandria, VA, Courtney Eckert and husband, Matt, of Palmyra, PA, Jill Frazier and husband, Andrew, of Chambersburg, PA, Shannon Pettit and partner, Paul Musser, of Clear Spring, MD, Samantha Dawson and partner, Derek Dyer, of Hagerstown, MD, Sarabeth Maldonado, wife of Diego Maldonado, of Hagerstown, MD, Mallory Churchey and partner, Nick Lozanov, of Williamsport, MD, and Miranda Churchey and partner, Andrew Moats, of Williamsport, MD; and great-grandchildren, Kendyl Kenney, Brayden Eckert, Adelynn Eckert, Logan Eckert, Parker Mose, Jevin Blair, Tyler Musser, Brystal Churchey, Ella Lozanov, Tysen Grove, Jaxon Dyer, Chloe Braithwaite, Oliver Maldonado, and soon-to-be-born, Kolsen Moats
