Robert James Hennigan, 65, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on December 6, 2020 with his son by his side after a brief battle with cancer. Robert was born on November 4, 1955 in Washington, D.C. to James Hennigan and Elizabeth Hennigan. Robert was preceded in death by his father James Hennigan. He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Hennigan; brothers, James Hennigan, Richard Hennigan; son, Andrew Hennigan and wife, Megan, grandchildren Sophia and James; daughter, Alicia Hennigan Guy and Husband, LaBrell, grandchildren Kaiya and Isaac Guy. Robert retired after 31 years of working for Montgomery County Public Schools in the Department of Transportation. Starting as a bus driver and then continuing to become a route supervisor out of the Clarksburg, MD Bus Depot. Robert enjoyed going out on long road trips exploring the mountain regions of the United States. A small family gathering was held at Minnich Funeral Home on December 7, 2020.
