Robert Allen
Hall Jr.
Jul 3, 1956 — Jan 24, 2024
Robert Allen Hall, Jr., affectionately known to many as Bob or Robbie, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024, at Hospice of the Panhandle in Kearneysville, West Virginia. Born on July 3, 1956, in Hagerstown, Maryland, Bob was a treasure trove of love, humor, and wisdom throughout his 67 years.
Bob lived a full life, brimming with devotion to his family and friends. He is survived by his cherished wife of 42 years, Sandra "Sandi" Hall, his loving daughter Natasha "Tasha" Hall, his proud son Anthony "Tony" Hall and daughter-in-law Erin, his grandson Cian Hall, and his granddaughter Madison Davies along with her husband Christopher. He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews who will miss his playful spirit and endearing laughter. Robbie was predeceased by his parents, Robert Allen Hall, Sr., and Jane I. Hall.
Robbie's academic journey concluded at North Hagerstown High School, from which he graduated in 1974. His professional life started at Foltz Manufacturing and continued to Fairchild Industries, culminating with a career at Xerxes Corporation in Williamsport. There, he took pride in his role as shop steward for many years for the amalgamated UAW Local 171, advocating for his fellow employees with passion and integrity.
Beyond his work, Bob's zest for life was apparent in his hobbies and interests. A lifelong sports enthusiast, he both cheered and cursed for his favorite teams: the Detroit Tigers, Baltimore Ravens, the Alabama Crimson Tide, and the Chicago Blackhawks. Bob's quick wit was always on display, ready to entertain with a joke or a clever comeback. His fluency in sarcasm was unmatched, always delivered with a twinkle in his eye, and his trademark grin, ensuring that laughter was a constant in the lives of those he touched. His love for movies and video games provided not only personal enjoyment but also opportunities to connect and share moments with those close to him.
Those who knew Bob will remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Bob's strong presence will be deeply missed, but the joy and love he brought into the world will forever resonate in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him. His legacy is etched in the memories he created with each person he met, and his influence will continue to be felt long after his passing.
Though Parkinson's Disease may have claimed his last days, it never dimmed the vibrant spirit that defined him.
For those who wish to honor Robbie, take a moment to share a laugh, watch a game, or reminisce about the good times shared, for this is how he would want to be remembered.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research in his memory so they may continue their research to find a cure for the disease that ultimately took his life at http://michaeljfoxorg If you wish to attend his viewing, the family requests that you dress casually and perhaps in your favorite sport team's attire as he was in no way a suit and tie kind of guy.
