ROBERT EMORY HAINES, 57, of Falling Waters, West Virginia, died Friday, January 18, 2013 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Born September 19, 1955 in Washington County, Maryland, he was the son of the late George E. and Yvonne Campbell Haines. He was a 1973 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He was employed with Roxbury Correctional Institute for twenty years retiring in 2004. He was a member of the Williamsport Red Men, Conococheague Tribe #84 and the Western Maryland Sportsman's Club, Inc. He is survived by a daughter, Jamie Nair and husband, Matthew of Hagerstown, MD; granddaughter, Brianna Nair, grandson, Matthew Robert Nair; two brothers, James Haines of Tennessee and Jeffrey Haines of Falling Waters, WV; a sister, Victoria L. McKenzie; and a special friend, Eileen Kline. The family will receive friends for a Celebration of Life 1:00 p. m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to charity of one's choice.
