Robert Lindsey Fix, 75, passed away on February 11, 2024, at his home in Hagerstown, MD.

Born on February 23, 1948, in Radford, Virginia, he was the son of the late Preston and Juanita Fix. After a long career as a mechanical engineer, Bob enjoyed his retirement years hiking, singing, listening to music, and doing woodworking and brainteaser puzzles.

Surviving are his wife, Gerry Fix; his daughter, Karen Rice, son-in-law, Daniel Rice, and grandchildren, Graeme and Ada Rice, of Greensboro, NC; and his brothers, Ted Fix of Ruffin, NC, and David Fix of State College, PA.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, at Hebron Mennonite Church, at 13315 Highlane Street in Hagerstown, MD.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hebron Mennonite Church.
