ROBERT WILSON FIDDLER, SR., 76, of 341 Ridge Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at his home. Born May 19, 1935, in Leetown, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Lonnie Fulkner and Mammie Viola Johnson Fiddler. He was retired from City of Hagerstown Engineering Department. He was a member of Goodwill Athletic Club, and a life-member of North American Rod & Gun Club. He is survived by his wife, Anna R. Rager Fiddler; two sons, Gary W. Fiddler, Sr., and Robert W. Fiddler, Jr., both of Hagerstown; five sisters, Mary Dowler, Shirley Howe, Mammie Harnish, and Marie Davis, all of Hagerstown, and Margaret Cosgrove of Prince George, Virginia; one brother, Kenneth Fiddler of Hagerstown; two grandchildren, Natasha Stadler, and her husband, Martin Stadler, Jr., and Gary W. Fiddler Jr.; and three great-grandchildren, Martin Stadler, III, Jordan Stadler, and Keira Stadler. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Viola Fiddler, Daisy Clipp, Helen Gettel, and Mildred Fiddler; and three brothers, Herman Fiddler, Marion "Buddy" Fiddler, and Malhon Fiddler. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Pastor Alan Waddell will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p. m.
