ROBERT LEE EATON, III, 59, of 111 East Baltimore Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the Washington County Hospital. Born July 23, 1949 in Sharpsburg, Maryland, he was the son of the late Robert Lee Eaton, Jr. and Betty Jane Eaton Shilling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Cullum Eaton on April 28, 2004. He was formerly employed by Mack Volvo Power Train of North America. He is survived by his companion, Brenda Wingfield of Hagerstown; one son, Robert Lee Eaton, IV; four sisters, Mary Reed of Hagerstown, Betty Siler of Boonsboro, Maryland, and Debbie Eaton and Teresa McCauley, both of Keedysville, Maryland; niece, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephew; aunts; uncles; and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p. m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Andrew Young will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
