Robert Wilson Davis, 90, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at his home. Born August 16, 1931 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Norman and Margaret (Rockwell) Davis. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Joan Davis, who passed away November 28, 2006. Robert was a long-time member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. He was in the Air Force from 1951 to 1955. He was very active. He loved going to sporting events and was a big fan of Maryland games. He loved photography and taking pictures. He enjoyed using a metal detector at beaches and in fields. As a youngster, he was into scouting. Robert is survived by his two sons, Todd Davis (Lisa) and Robert Davis (Beth); one grandson, Wesley Davis; one sister, Diane Bartles (Buck); and two brothers, Norman Davis, Jr. (Margorie) and Roger Davis (Linda). In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters, Naomi Poole, Norma Phillips, Delores Davis, and Wanda Davis; and one brother, Ronnie Davis. The funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Randy Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 6-8pm.
