Robert Reid Brewer, 93, of Funkstown, MD, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Brookdale in Hagerstown.

Born January 25, 1932, in Washington County, MD, he was the son of the late Renner and Julia May (Reid) Brewer.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Arleen Joan Brewer.

He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from Ft. Detrick. He was a member of the American Legion Post 211 in Funkstown.

He is survived by his son, Dwain Brewer of Waynesboro; three grandsons, Joshua Brewer of Louisville, KY, Justin Brewer of Denver, CO, and Brandon Brewer of Denver, CO; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gregory Reid Brewer, and seven brothers and sisters.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
