ROBERT "Bobby" ALLEN HARTLE, 53, of Needmore, PA, passed away Monday, September 7, 2015 as the result of a motorcycle accident. Born July 27, 1962 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of Judy Ann (Hoover) Hartle and the late Robert Lynn Hartle. Bobby played little league baseball and high school football. He graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1980. At the age of 15, Bobby began working at McDonalds. He was also a self-taught mechanic, and worked at K-Mart as a mechanic. For almost 27 years, he worked as a correctional officer at MCI-H where he was highly valued and respected by everyone. He received multiple letters of appreciation, and the MCI-H Employee of the Month (May, 2011). Bobby had many Chevy trucks, hot rods, and Harley Davidsons, which were a few of his many passions. He was an avid Redskins fan, and enjoyed deer hunting. Bobby was compassionate toward others, always helping and never expecting anything in return. He is survived by his wife, Anna Hartle; two daughters, Linsey Hartle, and Brooke Hartle; one son, Cody Hartle; and two sisters, Stephenie Rinehart and husband, Calvin, and Robin Trail and husband, John. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11am, Friday, September 11, 2015 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate. The family will receive friends, Thursday from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home.
