RICHARD "DICKIE" NORMENT OYLER, 65, of Williamsport, Maryland, died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Born October 12, 1947 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Howard and Kathleen Oyler. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Elizabeth Oyler. Dickie retired from CAS and was previously employed with Callas Contractors, Inc. He was a member of Carpenter's Local Union No. 1145, Williamsport Red Men Conococheague Tribe No. 84, Potomac Fish and Game Club and Western Maryland Sportsman's Club, Inc. He is survived by two daughters, Sunni Bittinger and husband, Douglas of Hagerstown, MD and Maggie Shover and husband, Michael of Clear Spring, MD; two sisters, Roxanne Vinson and husband, Bob and Beatrice Smith and husband, John; one brother, Charles "Buddy" Oyler and wife, Joyce; six grandchildren, Darren Bittinger, Sara Bittinger, Kolby Dietrich, Kasey Dietrich, Darren Shover and Nichole Shover; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Shane Oyler; one sister, Shirley Vinson; two brothers, Junior Oyler and Harry "Jack" Oyler, Sr. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Renee Mackey will officiate. Burial will be in Broadfording Church Cemetery.
