Richard Philip Campello, 88, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at his home.

Born January 25, 1935, in MD.

Richard previously worked for AC&T, Krumpe's Donuts, Statton Furniture until they closed, and the City of Hagerstown.

He was a member of Antietam Fire Company and Covenant Life Church of God.

Richard is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee Campello; his son, Tony Campello; three stepdaughters, Kimberly Dowler, Donna Kinzer and husband, Greg, and Tracy Simpson; one stepson, Lawrence Simpson; one grandchild, Brandon Kinzer and wife, Lynsay; and one great-grandchild, Elianna Kinzer.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth Hyatt.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 127 Britner Ave., Williamsport, MD. Pastor Tim Fisher will officiate.

The family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 6-8pm.
