RHEA OLEVIA GROVE, 100, formerly of Lexington Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Saturday, July 9, 2005 at Fahrney-Keedy Home in Boonsboro, Maryland. Born February 6, 1905 in Bridgeport, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah C. Summers Poole. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Weller Grove in 1979. She was employed with the Washington County Board of Education in the Cafeteria Department for twenty year retiring in 1970. She was previously a volunteer for the 4H and a cook at Sineoquipe Boy Scout Camp. She was a member of the Halfway Voluntary Fire Company Auxiliary and Halfway Friendship Homemakers Club. She is survived by three daughters, Doris J. Kline and Joyce L. Ott both of Hagerstown, Maryland and Alice R. Bair of Williamsport, Pennsylvania five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
