Sadly, but joyously, Rebecca Lee Snyder was called home by her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, July 18, 2020. He decided that battling with her illness for two years was enough! Rebecca was a Christian woman that loved her husband, George; daughter, Tonya Freeman, and son-in-law, Greg; her son, Timothy Snyder; granddaughter, Abigail Snyder; and grandson, Adam Freeman. We cant list all the other "family" that were very special to her because the number is too great. We fear we would miss some. But for sure, she loved her Lord. She was born to Margaret (See) Nixon and Franklin Nixon of Oldtown, MD on January 31, 1951. We would list her accomplishments, but much like her family and friends, the list is too great. Rebecca reached the lives of countless people in her mission here on earth. Because of this, her rewards in Heaven will be great. From a grateful family, we would like to thank all of her Amyloid doctors at Johns Hopkins, as well as her doctors here in Hagerstown and Smithsburg. Your commitment to her and her care did not go unnoticed. Thank you. We would also like to thank Pastors Jerry Cooper, H. Dennis Benton, Jimmy Wells, Jr., Allen Robinson, and Richard Harris for your prayers and support that you provided our family throughout her illness. To our extended family (you know who you are), God bless you for your support, food, help, love, and prayers. They were answered according to Gods will. A memorial service will be held 1 PM Saturday, August 1, 2020 at Boonsboro Bible Church, 6741 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, MD. Pastor Jimmy Wells will officiate.
