REBECCA LOIS YOWELL PACKETT, 98, of Oak Hill Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Friday, September 23, 2011 at the home of her daughter's in Fairfax, Virginia. Born September 1, 1913 in Boyce, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late James K and Rebecca A. Ritenour Yowell. She was preceded in death her husband, James William Packett in 1991. She was a member St. John's Episcopal Church. She is survived by daughter, Rebecca A. Packett Raiger; nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; she was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Ann Boyd will officiate. There will be no viewing or visitation.
