Ray Clinton Mills, Sr., 79, of Falling Waters, WV, born on November 1, 1940, to the late Winfield Albert Mills and Hazel Rebecca Carbaugh Mills, passed peacefully at Chambersburg Hospital, surrounded by loved ones on July 6, 2020. Ray was a retired truck driver for Baker Driveway and a trainer at Charlestown Racetrack. He leaves behind 5 children, Ray Mills, Jr. of Chambersburg, PA, Michael (Rhonda) Mills of Falling Waters, WV, Bryan Mills of Hagerstown, MD, Brenda (Graham) Thomson of Nova Scotia, Canada, and Cheryl Mills of Hagerstown, MD, a brother, William (Peggy) Mills of Hagerstown; three sisters, Cora (Jesse) Reed of Clear Spring, MD, Esther Shaw of Hagerstown, and Mary Catherine (Curtis) Hartle of Greencastle, PA; former spouses, Joanne Mills and Kim Perry; as well as many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Vernon Mills; three brothers, Richard, Frank, and Lewis; and two sisters, Betty and Elsie. Family will receive visitors for a viewing on Friday, July 10, 2020 from 6 to 8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Broadfording Church Cemetery, 13523 Broadfording Church Road, Hagerstown, MD. .
