Randy Lee Younker, 61, of Cearfoss, died Tuesday, May 19, 2020 as a result of a construction accident in Virginia. Born on February 13, 1959, in Hagerstown, Randy was the son of the late Stanley "Red" Younker and Lillie Weller Younker. He was a 1977 graduate of Clear Spring High School and was employed by Miller and Smith of McLean Virginia for over 30 years. Randy is survived by his son, Christopher Younker and wife, Sarah, and one granddaughter, Gabrielle Younker all of Hagerstown. He is also survived by one brother, Gregory Younker, and two sisters, Teresa Nutter and Kimberly Stottlemyer all of Falling Waters, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Michelle Huff. His granddaughter Gabrielle was the light of his life. Due to the current social distancing requirements, a private graveside service will be conducted at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family with Rev. L. Patrick Ricker officiating. A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date. Randy will be available for viewing on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 9am to 9pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. State restrictions limit the number of guests at any given time.
