Ramona Jane Schleigh, 96, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Fahrney-Keedy Senior Living Community.

She was born on October 29, 1928 in Hagerstown, MD. She was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice (Stevens) Bostetter.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Geraldine Bostetter, her husbands, John C. Bowers and Charles Schleigh, and cousin, Betty Stouffer (Fayette) of Hagerstown, MD.

Ramona attended Woodland Way School and Hagerstown High School. She was employed by C&P Telephone Company, Doubleday Books, and Herald-Mail.

She is survived by her sister, Helen L. Zimmerman of Hagerstown, MD; half-sister, Jeanie Plotner (Vernon) of Hagerstown, MD; half-brother, William Bostetter, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD; niece, Barbara J. Zimmerman of Hagerstown, MD; nephew, Steven E. Zimmerman (Leah), of Fayetteville, PA; great-nieces, Kelly L. Zimmerman (Timothy Klement) of Baltimore, MD and Allison M. McVicker (Jason) of Charleston, SC; cousin, Richard Shank (Donna) of Hagerstown, MD; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be held Friday, July 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD 21740. Family will receive friends at 10:00 AM. Rev. Randall Reid will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
