Rachel Louise Draper, 95, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2023 at Coffman Nursing Home. She was born on December 5, 1928 to the late Seibert Hoffman and Mary Williams Hoffman.

Rachel was a longtime member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Hagerstown VFW.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling Draper, her son, Ralph L. Ebersole Jr., her daughter, Martha F. Wilson, her daughter-in-law, Claudette Ebersole, her son-in-law, Nevin Renner Sr., her grandson, Nevin Renner Jr., her siblings, Monroe Hoffman, Donald Hoffman, Viola Stevens, and Elizabeth Price.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara A. Sigler and her husband, Paul R., her daughter-in-law, Ruth Ebersole, her son-in-law, Joseph Wilson, her grandchildren, Terry Sigler, Chandra Spriggs, Wendy Durst, Karol Hess, Rochelle Cannon, and Nichole Jones, thirteen great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren, and several beloved nephews and friends.

The family would like to extend their thanks to Coffman Nursing Home for their kindness and dedicated care they showed Rachel.

Family and friends are welcomed for a graveside service on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 10:00am at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S. Potomac Street in Hagerstown. Pastor Dennis Whitmore will officiate.
