PRESTON CARL GUESSFORD, 62, of 525 Frederick Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at his home. Born November 5, 1946 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Carl William Guessford Jr. He was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He was a member of the Air National Guard in Martinsburg, West Virginia. He is survived by two step-brothers, William Gossard of Palm Coast, Florida, and Robert Gossard of Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Flossie Irene Guessford. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. Family requests omission of flowers.
