Preston Leon Drury, Sr., 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at Meritus Medical Center. Born November 29, 1931 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Olive Mae (Kline) and Fred Nelson Drury, Sr. Preston served in the Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Charlotte "Ruth" Drury; two sons, Preston Drury, Jr and wife, Susan, and Dave Drury and wife, Tina; one sister, Betty Davis; one brother, Ira Drury; five grandchildren, Crystal Trythall, Sara Moore, Ryan Drury, Lea Taylor, and Scot Drury; one step grandson, Jeremy Athey; four great grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Preston was preceded in death by one sister, Jane Robinson; and two brothers, Nelson and Donald Drury. Funeral services will be held 2pm, Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Brad Selan will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Tuesday from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home.
