Pierce Leslie Alexander, Jr., 83, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Doey's House.

Born December 1, 1940 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Pierce Leslie Alexander, Sr. and Juanita June (Turner) Alexander.

Pierce was preceded in death by his wife, Bettie Alexander.

He worked for Mack Truck, Inc. and retired in 1995. He was a member of Mack Truck Local Union #171 and a life member of the North American Hunting Club, NRA, and McClellan Gun Club as well as a former instructor of the Maryland State Hunters Safety Program. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting deer and elk and shotgun shooting. He also enjoyed playing golf.

Pierce is survived by his daughters, Lisa Sword (Eric) and Jahna Alexander; his son, James Alexander; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Darlene Toms.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Gouff; his sister, Marlene Feltner; and his brother, Ronald Alexander.

The funeral will be held at 11am on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Kenny Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 4-6pm.
