PHYLLIS L. SHOWE, 77, of 1202 West Washington Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Friday, January 14, 2005 at her home. Born March 6, 1927 in Tilghmanton, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Henry and Helen Burgan Showe. She retired after thirty-three years with People's (CVS) Drug Store. She attended the Crossroads Church in Hagerstown. She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie J. Beachley of Hagerstown; one sister, Fern Gilbert of Hagerstown; one grandson, Patrick Stevens of Clear Spring, Maryland; four great-grandchildren, Jacob Stevens, Holly Stevens, John Ziegler, and Santana Ziegler, all of Clear Spring, Maryland; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tammy Stevens; three sisters, Minnie Huntzberry, Virginia Konder, and Vera Holmes; and one brother, Leonard Showe. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Pastor Charles P. Frank will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 7 to 9 p. m.
