PHYLLIS LORRAINE NOLAND, 74, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, March 19, 2007 at her home. Born June 29, 1932 in Hagerstown, Md. she was the daughter of the late John H. and Florence E. Daymude Ahalt. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, James Frederick Noland who died January 21, 2003. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Marie Grant of Hagerstown, Lorie Marie Wagle of Plano, Texas, and Lee Marie Weiss of Hagerstown; a step-son Richard Dean Noland, Lady of the Lakes, Florida; two sisters, Flo Stottlemyer of Hagerstown and Katherine Miller of Seattle, Washington; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James Frederick Noland II; a sister, Gladys Barr; and four brothers, James Ahalt, Conord Ahalt, William Ahalt and Jack Ahalt. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. The Rev. George A. Limmer will officiate. Burial will be in Enon Primitive Baptist Cemetery in Largent, West Virginia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Prayer service will begin at 7:00 p.m. The family has requested the omission of flowers.
