PHYLLIS CATHERINE NEEDY, 76, of 22903 Civic Circle, Smithsburg, Maryland, died on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Meritus Medical Center. Born in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry David and Helen Jane Itneyer Needy. She was a life member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She was previously employed by WCARC. She is survived by her sister, Iris C. Stickell of Hagerstown; and step-nephew, Henry N. Stickell of Woodbridge, New Jersey. Services will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a. m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Reverand Kenneth Fizer of Shiloh United Methodist Church will officiate. Following the service, burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p. m. The family requests omission of flowers.
