PHYLLIS ELAINE MEYER, 87, of Loyalton Assisted Living, 20009 Rosebank Way, Hagerstown, Maryland, and formerly of 39l0 Ilford Road, Silver Spring, Maryland, died on Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Washington County Hospital. Born November 16, 1920 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Myron and Marion Truesdale Harlow. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Claxton Meyer on August 5, 2000. She previously was employed with Bethesda Chevy Chase High School in Bethesda, Maryland. She is survived by two sons, David L. Meyer of Hagerstown, and Robert C. Meyer of Salisbury, Maryland; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Monday at the Parklawn Memorial Gardens, 12800 Veirs Mill Rd., Rockville, Maryland 20853. There will be no viewing. Arrangements by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard.
